Rachael Weiland is the Director of Business Engagement with South Dakota Trade. Ms. Weiland has years of experience in sales, community relations, and account service and management, most recently as Director of Account Service and Business Development Manager with Click Rain, a digital agency based in Sioux Falls. Rachael’s primary focus at South Dakota Trade is developing deep relationships with exporters, proactively recruiting and connecting businesses to programs and services of South Dakota Trade, hosting foreign delegations, and advising businesses on issues related to importing, exporting, and international business strategy.

Ms. Weiland is a native of Sioux Falls and received her Bachelor of Arts in consumer affairs at South Dakota State University and her Master of Arts in contemporary media and journalism from the University of South Dakota. She is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls and is actively involved in numerous community activities. Ms. Weiland resides in Sioux Falls with her husband and three children.
